  • Flipping brilliant stage, company party yesterday so spent today with a mother of a hangover. It was a good way to take my mind off the banging headache and later on the waves of nausea. Many naps were had. At least I had some buddies

  • And this scamp. But what a day's racing, like a mini-classic

  • What a day. De Gendt is some rider.

Tomorrow looks fun too. Lots of climbing including a tough ramp with about 15km to go.

  • Think it was carefully orchestrated? Like, “okay G today you can crash and it won’t affect your time too much, but after that you and Bernie have to actually race”...

  • r/accidentalrenaissance

  • He only lost time to Pinot and, less importantly, Alaphillipe though. He’ll put more than 20 seconds into Pinot in the time trial.

  • Everyone's holding back for the last week. Simon Yates might as well have a tent and camping gear strapped to his bike.

  • I hope he’s got room in there for Mr Nibs

  • That stage was bangin’

  • Another angle

  • Are the lightweights still available ?

  • Moscon finished 23 minutes down and the crash was only 15km from the finish.
    Is he hurt?

  • Why does he need to rush to get to the finish? As long as he is inside the time limit, he's done his job.

  • Still don’t quite get how that frame snapped

  • Thanks for clearing that up

  • Fucking loved that, Alaphilippe and Pinot trying to grab seconds on the GC peloton.
And Alaphilippe going fuck that about missing out on yellow and having another go to get back into it.
Surprised by how active pinot is being this early. Know he’s got to limit his loses in any time trial but he’s looking stronger than I’ve seen him before. Was really worried about him descending trying to hold the wheel of Alaphilippe.
Loved the French road painters on the ascent of La Planche des Belles Filles, plastering his name across the road..
Really hoping he can make a real French fight of it..

  • You're welcome.

From the helicopter footage, it looks like it broke Thomas' fall.

  • amazing racing the last three days.

we have an epic tour on our hands here ls and gs

  • Thomas landed on it. Not many frames would have stayed in one piece.

  • Michael Woods seems like a jolly nice chap, and he's obviously got huge aerobic capacity, but he's a fucking liability on a bike.

  • So Ineos have both Lightweight wheels and are using the F12 x-light to boot. Not really lowering the suggestions their bike is a tubby bugger.

  • It clearly doesn't matter, does it? They've won six of the last seven Tours on Pinarello frames so it's not like it's giving them a competitive disadvantage.
