• Historic are ULEZ exempt AFAIK but not congestion charge exempt.

    Edit: oooh, this is getting complicated now. Historic are LEZ exempt, but not ULEZ exempt. Will be exempt from Sept 2020? And I’m pretty sure it’s not congestion charge exempt. Whatever the T charge is, it’s exempt? Probably best I don’t drive my Anglia in London any more then, I’m so fricking confused.

  • The lez is only for commercial vehicles, lorries and buses I think. I think you've also just answered my question as to why old route masters are OK.

    The original lez does not apply to cars. I had to get rid of my old vw t4 van though :(

    Also, to drive a non compliant vehicle in the original LEZ is around £100 a day I think. Its more like a ban/fine than a fee.
