  • Ah I see. Totally misinterpreted what you meant by falling apart. I thought you meant that the screwbar was removable without you unscrewing it.

    A dab of loctite would be perfect. Not sure which one to suggest though, would have to be whatever their most temporary one is. Maybe somebody else on here knows more about loctite!

  • I've used 222 (purple) on bracelet screws before, so still have a lot of a bottle in a drawer - I'm Bromley way-ish if you're anywhere remotely close but probably more time/cost efficient to buy.

  • Depends on what you're trying to achieve. Regular blue threadlock will hold well, still be removable and act as an anti ease.

  • A bit of further playing with it suggests the thread is a bit knackered. One bar screws up properly, the other one tightens and then just continues to spin and never fully tightens up. Will email Helson and see what they have to say.
