  • If you want to shift down a gear, you have to go two down, and one up.

  • I have one custom steel/carbon ISP rim brake bike, and one carbon disc brake bike.

I paint whatever I get paid to paint.

  • If anybody comes across the previous gen (2018/19) Supersix Evo rim brake frameset in size 52, I'd be interested.

  • Yeah. That’s really nice.

Curious combination of the Si fork, triple carbon tube but what looks like a BSA BB.

  • Does appear to be threaded, not a converter. Good price too if the groupset is in decent nick.

  • Still messing with the fit on my Cad, it's almost long enough.

  • Nice bike, how good is 'that' fork compared to the standard slice with alloy steerer? Been thinking about getting one as an upgrade for my CAAD 9

  • Don't know really. Stupidly light, I know that. I looked for a while for my caad 7 then just bought some ec90 slx because they're cheaper and easier to come by. They also look decent.

  • Standard slice is a boat anchor in comparison.

Problem is all the Si and premium forks are now really, really old.

  • And I'd trust an old alloy steerer over an old carbon one (he says, riding a v old set of slx forks...)

  • Heh, I wouldn't - the bond between the alloy and carbon is particularly vulnerable to the ravages of time :)

  • Hey Cannondale gang,

I will have the following up for grabs in the next week or so if anyone is interested:

    50/34 10 arm spidering
175mm SiSL2 arms - NDS hardly used, DS used
    175mm Stages G2 Si arm

Not sure what prices / going rate is but let me know if you want to see photos etc.

  • Good point, plus they're making near enough ENVE 2.0 moneys in the sales adds. But they would make picking my bike up to move it from corner to corner of my garage easier.

Maybe i should focus on the fact is still has Tiagra 9 speed and Aksiums for now...

  • Think I paid £40 for ec90SLX and they look decent (IMHO)

  • Yeah the Easton was like the go to if you couldn’t find a an Si fork.

  • Nice, yeah i've seen them on the Bay for similar, been told they're flexy but i doubt i'd ever notice.

I'll fess up, the main driver is tyre clearance. My 9 easily takes a 30c G-1 on the back and my old Slice premium fork could fit one with relative comfort. Rumour has it the Si fork is made from the same mould as the Slice premium so should have the same clearance. For me personally there's something very appealing about being able to run G-1's as the bike will be used for touring as much as road riding.

  • Back in the Cannondale gang. Took a while for me to build this up, but thanks to the wonders of bike insurance I’m back up to spec. I even upgraded to a front derailleur after giving 1x a quick try on my old 12.

Decided to give it a couple of touches of gold and gum so it wasn’t completely black and grey.

  • ^mad bargain. Almost as mad as my stolen race bike which has finally resurfaced!

  • these are all the same, only difference is weight. silver paint seems to be heavy as the silver si is colser to the premium+ than the gold si
