• Not really true. The chassis on certain ages of cars do tend to rust if not treated and looked after on a regular basis but the body on frame construction means that the repairs are reasonably easy and the cost is low enough that it doesn't write off cars.

    The powdercoat issue was only a real problem on cars built on the mid-latter part of the 90's.

  • Yeah definitely more wrapped around lampposts / hedges. My old neighbor accounted for two of them. My mate’s brother-in-law another - he stuffed it in a motorway wall after loosing it in a straight line in the pissing rain. Very lucky to survive. (I think he had a speed 6)

    Great cars though.

  • I"m biased because they've been the main part of my interest and love for all things automotive but whilst, they have their faults like any car does, I do think they are one of the great British car brands. Just a shame it's taking so long to resurrect them. I'm glad I was involved with them during the most successful and exciting part of the brand's history.
