It’s so obviously a lie. And intended to distract attention away from the sordid events of last week and the fake attempts to quell it with photo.

...frustratingly it seems to be working wonderfully too - I think read somewhere that he has an anecdote about producing a dead cat to win an argument he's loosing.

eco friendly buses
Which were one of his greatest failures
What was the issue with the new buses?
-
• #480
They didn't work, had to be diesel-powered, overheated in summer with windows that didn't open, had a poor safety record, cost too much etc and so on. Also, he made a big play that they were going to be sold around the world - he went on a world tour and sold zero buses. They're being phased out now, or have been already.
A publicity-driven, costly, embarrassing, dangerous joke. Follow that metaphor as long as it goes.

Also costing a lot of money from fare evasion (as there's no conductor like the original routemasters). The rear doors are going to be closed off to stop this.
To be fair the bendy buses also had this issue and were much maligned for other reasons although I believe they were unwarranted.

Thanks.
Tbh whenever I took one, I thought they were really good, and were at least better physically suited to London traffic than the bendy ones.

Is this the new routemasters? I've swallowed the kool-aid on them if so...

Rimmer brothers?
-

me too; maybe diesel, maybe too hot, maybe fare evader’s dream ...but RAD.

Well, sounds like they will be going cheap shortly for some Summer Holiday shenanigans

And the moral is: think twice before contacting the police if you have concerns over what might be happening next door

Well, to be more accurate.... think twice before selling a story to a newspaper about the private life of the next potential PM.
It's not the reporting to the police that got BJ's sycophants raging.
What's the evidence they've moved beyond that one person's "apparently" ?

reporting potential domestic abuse to the police isn't "selling a story to a newspaper". give your head a wobble.

Tories enter into agreement with 'Brexit Party'
I'm sure there's been something published on this, but are the BP genuinely in line to win bulk MPs? UKIP never did for example.
-
• #493
We were never beyond 'Brexit Day' before.
The recent Euro elections have scared the Tory party witless. -

The former can certainly be done without the latter being done though.
Although I've no idea whether they were paid for the story I think most would agree that providing the recording to the Guardian was politically motivated. Obviously that still shouldn't result in threats and having to move out though.

There's wildly different forecasts. Some have them winning hundreds, some have them winning about five.

When I was elected as an MP in 2005 my big passion was lambada
dancing, I have a lot of Brazilian friends, I used to go to the
carnival in Brazil. This just brings back some happy memories. This is
a dance for single people and quite an intimate dance so perhaps not
one for the married listeners. -
