It's an Octane One Gridd frameset (the cheap one from CRC/Wiggle)

My new budget gravel/cx build. It's an Octane One Gridd frameset (the
cheap one from CRC/Wiggle) that I picked up on ebay. Thought I would
share as it's one of a few cheaper frameset options. Stack and reach
are a bit lower and shorter than an Arkose so a long stem gets you a
fairly roady position. The welds are pretty agricultural but it has
thru axles, mudguard and rack mounts, and takes 3 bottle cages. First
riding impressions are good - I think this will be a fun bike. Need to
acetone some logos and chop the steerer, of course. Build is mainly
parts bin stuff with some Light Bicycle wheels off here.

How bad can this be, apart from the brakes and maybe wheels? Anyone tried one?

I was riding with a guy who was on the SRAM Rival version of this, looked better than I expected & surprised with how light it felt.

I'm not a fan of the fork aesthetically but cracking value at 200 quid for the frameset too

Were it to have thru axles, I'd snap one up in a second as a cheap modern foundation for a build until I found something nicer.
