• Ok, I'll not bother with that aspect then. TBH I'm pretty sure the structure should be sound, it would just be a bonus to check.

  • If you're used to woodworking, you probably already have a good idea about what'll hold and what won't.

    There's just so many little aspects that influence the result of your simulation - better to do some full scale models or just over engineer whereever possible.

    ...about that... Not done anything like this since Uni 10+ years ago. It's a trial run for my own home, but my do a batch of smaller versions if it goes well and see if they sell on Etsy etc. FWIW the material in question will be 19mm Valchromat, which is apparently stronger than MDF, so I think I should be alright
