Nice one, I'll be using wood for this, but apparently there's a free hobbyist licence, so I'll check it out.

Fusion is nice, but unless you are very experienced with stress analysis in CAD I'd leave it alone. It is much easier getting something wrong than getting something right, unless you know excactly what you're doing.

Ok, I'll not bother with that aspect then. TBH I'm pretty sure the structure should be sound, it would just be a bonus to check.
