It was definitely written somewhere. I saw the massive USB cable and wondered what I was looking at and must've seen a sign for it.

Very nice write up, especially with the little videos and soundbites.
So that thing up north was the Google data centre. I did not know.
Btw, next time try spending less time drinking beer and more time sleeping. ;)
