The awkwardness of the lady running up to me to try and put a medal round my neck as I finished was almost enough to put me off for life tho!
To keep things in perspective, my my Bill ran the Great Lakes Race on the same day I was on Arran. We usually run pretty similar times, and the two courses are quite similar, 2000m~ over 20km~, I came 27/109, I think he was 219/320. I'm still taking it tho!
