How...what....how on earth did you do that?
I really don't know. I spent last year working on my endurance and did a few ultras (longest of 12hr) but xmas to April I have been on a Hanson's marathon training plan, then after London Marathon I sort of fell off the training wagon, got the flu (no running), had a holiday (no running) and then it was race day. I think maybe the extra rest after LM meant I had the reserves to just keep plugging away... maybe?
