It seems a new test has been developed which they've been testing on suspicious samples flagged up by the biological passport and this is what has, finally, caught Cobo.

Was watching the BBC news last night and they had a clip of Froome and Poels reconning the course just before he binned it. Froome is putting on a wind jacket without his hands on the handlebars and Poels is saying something like, 'you shouldn't be taking so many risk'. He sounds slightly annoyed as well, as Froome seems to be brushing him off.

Wow, what were the chances of that getting captured on camera? It's from 14 mins here:
https://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/m0005xkr/bbc-news-at-ten-13062019I would agree that Poels sounded annoyed!
He was blowing his nose when it happened of course. What's wrong with snotting all over your gloves like the rest of us..?

I mean, pros are amazing bike handlers, but there really are limits. Gusty winds are one of them.

I'm sorry for him and all that, but no hands on a TT bike is asking for trouble. I tried that once and never again...

Reports suggest he took one hand off the bars, not both.

News in L’Équipe today about the Châtenay-Malabry antidoping lab refining its EPO testing method to make micro-doses detectable for 48h+, as against approx 24h today. Not ratified yet but could be by early 2020 & samples from last ten years can be retested.

I got the Eurosport player; is there usually no commentary?
What odds would you get for Fuglsang winning the Tour?
He was in Bahrain Merida, so the internet hasn't exploded like if it had been Team Sky/Ineos.
He was of course in Team Sky before, so some people I've seen have tried to link it back, but don't think there was anything suspicious while he was there.
