Want to get a camera to start taking pics again, previously had a canon 20d with a 50mm f1.4 which I loved but never used as it was too much of a pain to lug around and ultimately sold when I was skint.
Looking for something a bit more compact that can take interchangeable lenses now.
I vaguely recall everyone seemed to like the panasonic lumix and 'pancake' lens a few years back but it seems this area of the market is saturated with competing systems now and I haven't got a clue.
budget up to about £600 for body/body&kit lens and ideally with some well-respected low f-stop prime lenses available in that mount system for £150-250 a pop.
subjects would include tabletop games (whole table shots so pretty wide) and macro shots of game pieces amongst other more typical uses.
what makes and model ranges should I be looking at in my searches? what should I avoid like the plague?
I have a Sony alpha 6000 for sale with bunch of lenses and accessories.
Ideally I'd like to sell the whole lot for £800.
PM me if interested and we can work something out.
unfortunately my new Lumix gx9 arrived the day before.
And I already picked up the 15mm f1.7 summilux and 30mm f2.8 macro to go with the 12-32mm kit lens. so for what I spent your bundle would have been a steal, such a shame.
