Would this:
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/283446414118Fit a standard 1 din radio slot? Not going to need to adapt anything? I just want a bluetooth/aux/usb radio without spending a bomb

• #48153
Yeah. You'll also need to find a wiring adapter for your car though, unless you're good with electronics and a soldering iron :)
-

Will the one out of the back of the old radio work? Or can I just buy one cheap
-

Is it the standard VW headunit (sony?) if so, potentially not. You normally need like a cross over cable/adaptor, they're readily available from halfords / online

Car is back with Level 2.5 autonomy. It is fantastic now its working properly.

Anyone watch Samcrac on youtube? He does up cars he buys at salvage auctions and is JUST on the right side of irritating internet car guy. Currently saving a Ferrari 360 from an undercarriage hit and it's the most heinous colour, british racing green, so flat and gross in the Floridian sun, it's original too, these companies should not be letting their customers choose their own colour, let them take it to a paint shop if they want a beige GT2

He's just the wrong side of annoying for me (although he's still nothing compared to B is for Build). That 360 doesn't suit that solid green at all. Shame because some of the other greens look fantastic. I do like seeing people working on exotic cars though so I'm sure I'll watch (and wince when he beats the floor with a hammer)

I can't belive the le mans porka hybrid is a full 20 seconds faster.
-
• #48160
I wonder if itโs making that time in specific areas, or is faster all round the track?
-
• #48161
Brilliant, thank you. Looked it up on YouTube and the coding part looked scary, Iโll take it to a bimmer specialist.
-
• #48162
20 seconds?
Porsches time is 5:19.546 so it's ~46sec quicker!

When diesel and electric unite. ๐

I always loved the noise these hybrid prototype cars make

It's very clear from the state of those aftermarket wheels and the smoked lights that this was previously in the hands of an underserving owner.

wonders what the insurance would be on a 360 for somebody who has driven for less than a year

Hmmm. Insurance group >50? What does that even mean? I thought there were only 50 insurance groups!
EDIT: Was an error on the web site I was looking at

I think the lusso takes the 360 by the shitter. Fyi
-
• #48172
Think it's basically 1-49 then 50 is just whatever the fuck they want to charge

I think the current ones are mostly quite good looking. There was a long period before that where they looked pretty bland though (the 360 was one of those:)).
-
• #48174
Can probably get it cheaper than you think from a specialist depending on your age.

I'd never buy an older car to drive. Just not something I'm interested in. I like my creature comforts too much. Was just a bit spellbound by how the 360 looks.
