Clothes moths - little flying cunts
Just discovered a favourite wool jacket given to me by my mother before she died has been devoured. It's been a while since she passed away but recently had been feeling that I still miss her and this discovery has been a bit of a kick in the nuts.
And I have fucking cedar wood things in my cupboards and regularly spray with moth killer.

They are little cunts.
Interesting fact - my wife inhaled some moth killer while spraying them once, and went completely mental for a couple of minutes. Total bizarre mood swing rage.

It's a weird dynamic they have. They're clearly not adult versions of the animals that Bing etc are. They also don't appear to be their parents - more like guardians of some sort. All the architecture, furniture and so-on is clearly designed for creatures larger than Bing, and Fopp even has to get a stool to reach the counter tops. Everything points to absent adult versions of the animals, but as @TW says: where are they? Maybe they all fucked off once they worked out their entitled little shits of children were a lost cause, leaving some weird voodoo doll caretakers to stop them scalding themselves or getting mauled by (inexplicably different scale) stray cats.

That's a bit shit.

I use these periodically to get rid of them. Work way better than the less aggressive options

Wow, I need to get hold of these things to nuke our flat since the little bastards seem to turn up multiple times a year. If they ever get into my Yohji jackets I will burn down the building.

I have never encountered a clothes moth.

Because you don't wear any clothes?

They've never tried to eat my vast collections of cock rings.

Many thanks for this tip, which I read yesterday. Now I can put it in action, as my train has been stuck with a fault for over an hour. Additionally, a drunk passenger is now being arrested having sexually/physically assaulted multiple people.

I didn't realise that! Good to know, cheers!

Apparently the active ingredient in that is lethal to cats.

Very possibly. It comes with rubber gloves and a face mask.

The producers explained this once. An inherited genetic defect resulted in the death of all the adult animals. they’re gone. Bing et all have approx 15 years before their their organs stop functioning.

Being one of those cunts that has to get a train home.

Do you have a link for proof? We have moths, and a cat, and so far have contained the problem by spraying moth killer spray around the affected areas.
Edit: Just want to be informed before trying anything stronger. -

A quick Google of "permethrin and cats" did it for me.

Yeah just wiki the active ingredient. Also lethal to bees.
I'd be surprised if one of those bomb things had the concentration required to make a cat very ill, but if your cats don't go out, like ours, it might build up over enough time and applications to cause complications. It has a long 'half life' if I understood it correctly.
We have two cats, a baby and moths. The moth population is controlled with sticky strips, regular hoovering and various quite nice smelling things in wardrobes. We only see a few of them now when its warm, but there are probably more where we can't see them.
Originally I thought we were at fault for the moth thing by brining in their lava on shoes, probably from off road rides. Then the cunts that live next door dumped a devoured carpet and a tonne of eaten paperwork at the bottom of our communal stairwell, I reckon they squeezed through gaps in the walls / under the floors from next door. FUCKERS.

The moth problem is mostly confined to the bedroom upstairs where the cat rarely ventures. I understand from reading about permethrin that its danger for cats lies mostly in a concentrated application of it, like liquid anti-flea treatment meant for bigger animals.
I really use it in an emergency but I think I'll go back to less invasive (except for the moth fuckers) treatments.
What adults?
WHAT HAVE THEY DONE WITH THE ADULTS!
