I don’t see how this ends up being anyone but Boris.
As someone said upthread after the IDS disaster the Tories fixed it so the members never got to choose again. The MPs narrow it down to two, then the members get to vote. Most of the MPs don't like Boris either. He could well get knocked out before the final two.

I was unaware, but Cameron bet old "Thick as mince" in a ballot that went to the members. Apparently the tories has 300,000 members back in 2005
