New JDM Monster has a kanji date! Looks pretty cool ATMO.

Apparently this is now discontinued ( in this colourway) so if anyone wants a bargain Bronze give me a shout .
Personally can’t decide if I like it or not.

Kanji date on the new STO turtle too, kanji all the things. I like the machined bezel insert too.

Any suggestions on where to buy perlit straps? I got some Eulit ones from Watchgecko before but they don't seem to sell them now.

I bought one from Uhrband24.com.

Tried a few of these on at the weekend
They didn’t have the Black Bay 58 though, which was what I really wanted to try on
Lovely watches though, seem to get a fair bit for your cash as well, all things considered

Ah! Grand, if I don’t stumble across one this week up around home I may well take you up on that offer when I’m back down in town.
Do you have and photos of it to hand at all?

Tudor does give you a lot for not a lot of money.

Good going on lining up the hands!

I’m very much still in the ‘learning the basics’ stage about watches and having tried a few of the larger brands on, I seem to have been drawn to Tudor.
Do you know if the 58 Black Bay is as ‘deep’ as the Black Bay, or is it just the diameter that is smaller at 39mm?

Ta, it’s lovely

I honestly don't know, better off asking @senor_Bear.

BB58 Case. The biggest change from the original line of Black Bays to the new 58 is the size. We went from 41mm to 39mm, from ~14.8mm thick to ~12.01mm, and 22mm lugs to 20mm.

Cheers. Now summer's on the way I need to pick a few more up.

It's definitely my favorite Tudor, though the pepsi gmt they've just released is very nice too.
Only things i don't like are the snowflake hand (still) and the rivet bracelet.
Great value for money though.

Suppose I really should have internetted properly

It’s “normal thick” instead of “thicccc”. It’s pretty nice and the manufacture calibers are a bonus at the price point. I personally quite like the bracelet.
Bell & Ross BR-V2-92 is worth a peep in that price range. They use the ETA movement that Tudor used to use in the BB (and still do in most of their non-diver BBs and other watches).

Thoughts? This poor fucker has the patience of Job imo.

There's a follow up where the shop admitted being the ones to refinish rather than Tudor.

Cor. My gut feeling is that the AD told a few porkies.
Edit: Ha!
thanks all, I'll give that a go first. Ordered from ebay - 50 for £1.74!
