Do you think the goats cheese was piped in before or after cooking?
-
• #28628
Maybe after as the goats cheese was hot
-

More from necessity than choice; closest thing to macaroni in our local shop. Worked well though

looks great! theirs is on the bone as well? how did you do yours - just shred and then pose for photos?
-

Unfortunately the butcher didn’t have any on the bone, so it was more like steaks. It tasted amazing though so no complaints

Had been given some sriracha mayo and been sceptical so it sat in the larder.
Was making a chicken sandwich and thought I’d like a little extra zing so liberally applied the mayo. It actually packs a reasonable punch and gave me the scalp itch/tingles I like to feel when eating spicy food.
Will be liberally applied to things in future.

If you're applying it to your scalp, you're probably doing it wrong.

You found my blog?

@dancing james It's good but I make mine with Kewpie and OG sriracha which is the absolute business. Perfect for sarnies.

any recco's in south london for a night out for 2, prefs around beelixton / hernia hill / peckenham etc?
-
• #28638
I'd you didn't mind heading a bit further south east, there are plenty of people banging on about Sparrow in Lewisham. Haven't been myself though.

Let me know what it's like if you go. There must be some truth to the hype.

I hate eating out, just seems like a massive waste of money... But that's what you get when both your mum and dad worked in hospitality all their lives... I have no problem eating out in Spain but that's because everybody does it, it isn't a middle class pursuit...
Eating out in Queensland is pure vanity, there's absolutely no point... Just do it at home, easy peasy...
As you were...

I sort of agree. The food has to be something that I can't reasonably expect to do well at home for me to want to eat out.
-
• #28643
Absolutely, proper Southern BBQ, Aussie seafood places, London pie and mash shops, US burger and fried chicken joints, etc... Boil and dice the bourgeoisie!!!
White boys can't cook...

Sorry, I'm feeling internet militant...

Speaking of doing things at home, I'm about to slice into the pork belly that I've been turning into bacon for the last ten days.
I have high hopes.

That's what I'm talking about... Keep it real... 😍

Agree to an extent, I barely ever have steak when I eat out as it's pricey and I can cook it perfectly well at home.
-
• #28648
yeah but washing up is for cunts.
-
• #28649
Dishwashers, do you have them there?
-
• #28650
I don't have the luxury of a charcoal grill at home so steak is still on my eat out list under some circumstances.
Yeah was definately sweet and with loads of icing sugar on top. The goats cheese was creamy and soft.
