Just voted for the first time. I voted for the Milkshake Party. Just kidding - Green.

• #21328
Lot of EU 27 citizens being refused a vote, effectively removing a significant body of people’s ability to be represented in these elections.

Leeds.
Went for Magid Magid because LD are guaranteed a seat, Greens are likely to get the second remain seat and he likes Doc Martins.
In all seriousness though the polling station agents said the turn out so far was less than the local elections two weeks ago. Not sure if that's a good or bad thing.
Well, we'll find out on Sunday.

Same. LDs are going to get one seat in Yorkshire & the Humber, but not two. So I went with the Greens in the hope that they get one as well.

Sweet.
Still loving the timepiece BTW.

Another Green vote here. Polling Station was pretty much empty.
-
• #21333
Did anyone on here not vote Green?
-
• #21334
Ah, great. Glad you’re enjoying it. I’ve been disposing of a few more of mine to buy a guitar, I’ll likely come back to them eventually though.

me, I voted Lib Dem to be a tedious contrarian and because I vote(d) for Caroline Lucas in the GE. Everyone gets a prize in vilmsworld, see?
-
• #21336
SNP. Because they're pro-EU, Green wouldn't get in, but Brexit Party might.
Polling station worryingly quiet though, can't help but fear the gammons will steal another march and earn money dismantling their employers....

Green vote from me. GF went Change UK and said it made her feel dirty.
-
• #21338
Meh.
Both remain votes and you get a 'dirty GF' tonight.

Had an interesting 'chat' with my wife's Dad about this. Me saying it's mad how there's potentially massive security issues. Him absolutely furious that a child had been brought up so badly that he would try and rig an election.
I don't think he actually listened to what I was telling him.
-
• #21340
Ha! We just keep an eye on that child, nothing can possibly go wrong ;-)
-
• #21341
Hm.
-
• #21342
i'm sure loads of us did(n't).

Scottish Greens for me.
SNP are pro EU and I'm guessing they will get all the Scottish seats. However the Honey Monsters quest for independence meant I'd rather not vote if they were the only remain choice.
I imagine independence would be a cluster fuck like brexit if it comes to that
At 8pm, there didn't seem to be many names crossed off the voting list up here.

Mamnick?

2 more northwestern Green voters here. Usually Labour since I left Wales, where I voted Plaid.
I only got campaign materials from Brexit Party Ltd and Greens from what I can remember. Greens had a nice list of what Green MEPs (from various Green parties in Europe working together) had achieved recently. The only one I can remember are mandating a standardised interface for charging phones, which is a good thing (fuck Apple).

Votes in NI aren't counted on Sunday so not results until Monday...
SF
DUP
Alliance (linked to libdems but doing a lot of decent work in NI against sectarianism)Most likely, just 3 seats up for grabs.

I don't think any results are announced until after polls close around Europe on Sunday eve.
Most of Europe do elections on Sundays, its just some of us who choose, and are permitted by the rest of Europe to do it on Thursday.
Almost like we still have the ability to do things our way when needed.
They don't let the early runners announce results in case they influence how other countries then vote.

That's been around for a while, there's just a loophole that Apple exploit.

Sure, but in this case, it was Micro-USB and its successors, i.e USB Type-C.
The ballot seemed to be much longer than the ones I've seen recently for GEs, can imagine that its more a case of 2x space needed for vote, rather than 2x votes cast
