I have that kind of info on paper - laminated cards that I keep in my top tube bag.

fair play, that looks miles better than earlier versions
still think missing out hells glen by taking the main road up the Rest and Be Thankful is a missed opportunity. The main road is pretty dull and can be grim with fast traffic. Hells Glen is incredible, very well surfaced singletrack road.
The central belt parts won't be great either (Kirkintilloch to Biggar) but that's sort of unavoidable tbh.

I add them as cuepoints. Not every possible stop but every 50 or 100km. Just takes a few hours on a 2000km route. If I really need an extra stop during the race I just use my phone.

I made a custom Google Map for RATN with separate overlays for Hotels, Food stops and Bike shops. It's very straightforward to then toggle a layer on or off.
The only issue is that I couldn't get the same map to show the (fixed) route of the race, but still a really useful resource and I found it preferable to adding POIs to the route I was navigating off on my Wahoo.

As I said in the other thread. I just star places in Google. What would be good is if RWGPS showed those starred places from Google.

Cheers, I just uploaded the routecheck.cc gpx to google maps and it has uploaded all the POIs and the route which is pretty useful.

That's a lot of POIs :)

I included pubs and it is Ireland!
I'll probably refine and have pubs on a separate layer, but I guess they are good for water and late night food etc. -

allez skinny!
Should be a great watch this year. Would love to tour it sometime.

Only one name other than Skinny I recognise: rode some of the Scottish bits of LEL'09 with Michelle Dulieu.

Alan Parkinson is London local, TCR DNF when his frame snapped.
https://twitter.com/AlanParkinson2Javier Simon is racing again. Singlespeed lunatic I've swapped emails with before.
Markus Stitz - round the world singlespeed, right?
Mike Sheldrake - another local(ish) rider who's done loads.
Nelson Trees - TCRs and runs SRMR

Ah, didn't see him. I know him, he's just up the road from me. He did #ht550 a few years ago and I had a chat with him about it at the start of the Ditchling Devil 200 (he was still hobbling about at that point) - also rode the first part of K&SW 600 with him in 2011.

Yeah, we've crossed paths a few times on various audaxes. Think most memorably for me on the Poole 400k (the Porkers series one, whatever it's called) and the TCR obvs.

Also Jenny Graham, Fiona Massey and Lee Cragie (although Jenny and Lee don't seem to be on the riders list via Trackleaders atm). All previous winners which should be good!

It's a top field this year. And some roadie noob.

That chump must've done something off-road to qualify...

Or they let him in for a good laugh!

Isla Rowntree is Islabikes founder (one for parents), ex-UK cyclocross champ or similar.
It looks wonderful. I'd love to do it. But would probably take me a month to push my bike round...

It seems Mike Sheldrake is in almost every race now he's retired. At least NCT and SRMR last year, now that, Italy Divide, TCR, PBP...

Imagine what I'll be like if I live to retire...
Hi collective hive mind.
What does everyone do to add possible food and water stops onto a map so they can quickly see what is coming up? It's for the TAW so a fixed route. I could go through the whole route and manually add POIs in RWGPS but wondered if there was an easier way such as a google maps overlay or importing the route to maps.me
I've tried routecheck.cc but it doesn't want to send the POIs back to RWGPS and also strips the cuesheet which is not ideal.
