Its hardly a performance bike.
I guess it doesn't really matter at the end of the day.
As for adjustability, LvH found a better solution, no doubt more money than Orbea wanted to spend on said bike.

I'm not saying quills are ace or anything.
I've fixed bikes with those adjustable ahead things on. They're usually terrible.
You're right that quills are often on cheapo bikes though. Which is a shame as they can be really nice/good.
