I think part of the reason that watchmakers aren't always happy to repair quartz movements is that they all seem to have idiosyncrasies and can be a nightmare to fix.
The Omega cal 1375 that Alsal are having trouble with is running ok, it's just that the hour and minute hand are running at the wrong rate. I mean wtaf!
Just bought another Omega 1375 donor watch to murder for the cause.
I suspect that the only person who can tell you how much is a Breitling service center.
The electronic module is certainly replaceable.
I personally wouldn't even consider putting a different movement in. It'd ruin the watch.
