My (Win 10) laptop is running really hot at the moment (early generation i7 so has always run a bit hot).
I'm planning to open it up and give it a spray with compressed air as I suspect it may be a bit clogged up with dust.
I also suspect that there are a few things chugging away in the background causing an issue too. I can't find anything in task manager and I've run ccleaner, malwarebytes, etc to check there's no malware or anything causing the issues.
Is there anything else I can do short of a clean install? I can't really be bothered reinstalling everything (in particular I've got a load of symlinks that I can't remember where they're pointing from/to that I don't want to have to set up again).
