Nah, bought it in 2017. I've swung between loving it and hating it ever since. I'm currently in a loving it phase.

The notable drawback of having a watch that has a quad retrograde full moonphase movement but cost less than £10k is that it is phat as fuck. I do not look forward to the day when I'll have to have this serviced. Standard it is not.

Think we talked about that one when it was announced, it’s basically a copy of the one given to the astronauts by Omega. It’s very cool, apart from the reverse side.

I've just had a call from Alsal to say that the donor movement that I purchased for the Omega that I am restoring does not work. Total pain in the balls. They do not grow on trees. On the plus side, the dial restoration looks lovely.

Just noticed that on that Apollo 11 Speedy they’ve replaced the straight index at 11 with an “11” numeral. I’m out.

That’s one of the best bits !!

So 11 has no lume. Like a spoilt pie.

Recently sold one. 2002 , went for £5250

I'm after a ceramic bezel one - new or recently used. Must have box and papers...

Friend of mine recently got a brand new one for the list price from Bucherer and only waited three months - but he had been on the list for a Hulk for over a year at that point so that may have been a factor.

Apparently he’s not allowed to buy another steel sports Rolex from them for a year, but the chances of the Hulk arriving in that time are minimal in any case, it seems. What a state of affairs.
