The thought experiment continues, saddle to hand position figure on the Eroba is about 50mm more than on the Unit, far from conclusive but supports my current hypothesis so I'll roll with it.
Playing with a stack and reach calculator I found that the current setup of my Eroba would be virtually identical to a Moots Routt 45 in size 50 with a 100mm stem. Would give me some room for playing around before landing in chub stem territory... Main cause for worry was toe overlap, but the slack headangle of the Moot seems to sort that, not sure how it would handle though. Would be using it for a mix of road and gravel.
