Thanks for the tips! Have been to a few of those places but there's some interesting sounding stuff I've not checked out.
I have no idea if any of the band are vegan, I've not actually met any of them before. Hope they're not dicks. -

New Cross has The Full Nelson

Thanks for all the suggestions, I'm meeting my extremely non vegan brother and his non vegan, gluten intolerant wife and there's a few suggestions there that should cover all of us without too much trouble.
1 city down, 11 or so to go! -

This was on a bike/saddle set up I cycled through Central America on, and the saddle did me fine for Quintuple Ironman on another bike. Reckon part of the issue may have been the trail shoes I was wearing - had a very thick sole and may have affected my position. That said, it's a lovely old Colnago saddle I've had forever, but it is leather and I'm looking to phase out any old leather stuff that's still kicking around.

Lyon is not the most vegan friendly place on earth, but found a place called Le Jardin Interieur - it was very good, if pricey and with a very small menu, which oddly always has one meat dish. It's also quite a walk from the centre. You may be better off just finding a pasta place in town which has a vegan option - found a few of those.

So do I, but I'm not keen on killing things for pleasure. Just give it up - I found the cravings went away after the first 14 or 15 years...

In Manchester : Siop Shop - doughnuts, coffee and sandwiches. Rudys pizza seem to always have a vegan special. Yes is supposed to be good, but I haven't been. Pollen Bakery is amazing and have had a bunch of vegan options when I've been. Bundobust has been highly recommended to me too, Indian food, but I didn't manage to make it the last time I was passing through Manchester.

On Hackney Central, I forgot this, largely as I haven't been yet:

Just off the Narroway.

This sentence is logically quite exquisite:
The menu at WAVE serves food that’s not normally considered vegan, such as vegan smoked salmon and vegan sausage rolls.

Christ, £8 for a toastie and £4 for a sausage roll means it's unlikely I'll be making a visit
-
• #6317
Oh, I didn't look at the prices.
Also not good for before Easts, as they close at 6.

Bundobust is good if a little pricey for what the food actually is.
V rev is a junk food style place, good burgers. Zads is a vegan takeaway who deliver, pizzas and burgers. 8th day coop and unicorn coop both good for stocking up on supplies for tour.
"Yes" vegan pizza slices are really good too.
Obviously there are a million greggs and @snottyotter will tell you to find a pound bakery
(all Manchester, if it wasn't clear) -

So much vegan news--let's start with the bad:
http://fatgayvegan.com/2019/04/30/support-vegan-business-attacked-by-trolls/
This is fucking unbelievable. I find it hard to believe that these people exist outside the internet.
But depressingly probably a sign of things to come.
I second the baseball bat approach if people like that showed up in my premises.

Leeds:
Temple donuts - all vegan donut/coffee shop (https://instagram.com/templecoffeelee)
Old Red Bus Station - vegan burgers, fried chicken, mozzarella sticks, milkshakes, cake etc.
(https://instagram.com/theoldredbusstation)Out of this World - veg/vegan “health” food shop. Loads of vegan snacks and chocolate in there. They also have a deli counter with cake, brownies, savoury items etc.
There is also a pound bakery just round the corner with vegan sausage rolls (2 for £1).
Bundobust - veg/vegan Indian street food. The food is awesome and good beer selection
(https://instagram.com/bundobust)Ecco Pizzeria - vegan cheese option, really good pizza. (https://instagram.com/ecco_pizzeria)
Roots and Fruits - vegan cafe, has more of the healthy style options.

I actually live in Leeds so will be using that date of the tour to eat something homemade and vaguely healthy!
Well, with London and the Shacklewell Arms you won't be a million miles away from Hackney Central. Loads of places, including Black Cat Café (the closest and longest-established (in various forms) in Clarence Road) Temple of Seitan, Vegan Sutton & Sons in Graham Road (fish and chips), Cook Daily in London Fields, Rehab at Well Street/Morning Lane, Dark Arts in Ponsford Street (I haven't been there yet, but @mrs_socks has and said it was very good), the Spread Eagle in Homerton High Street (Club Mexicana), and some other recent openings, but that should do for starters. :)
In Brixton, you have the 'Fauxmagerie' in Brixton Market, Ms Cupcake, Café Van Gogh further up Brixton Road--and of course you need to go to Brixton Cycles. There are probably many more things, but I'm not local to there.
I don't know about New Cross, sorry.
Are the band vegan?
