Alternatively anyone got a suggestion for cheap swept risers with less sweep than north road bars. Basically, something comfortable, a bit upright, and giving good balance.

I have a chain tool but when the pin is pushed right out that's when you need the hammer/pliers/swearing

That's why you don't push it all the way out.

The seat attaches to the top rails of the rack so can't access them to clip a bag too, so I would need a new rack with secondary rails - this is maybe where the bodge option comes in to play .

If that was all the electoral register was ever used for, we could all sleep more safely in our beds and it might approach the condition of being GDPR compliant, which it certainly isn't now.

I've got an awesome set of risers on my old beater track bike that came off a mate's Dutch bike and I cut down. No silly hipster rise, and a nice little sweap.

Was just hoping there'd be something with less effort!

Tortec Expedition has the lower level rails too.

Bent chainring last night, managed to ease back to something like true so no issue there, however 3 teeth broken too. Just ride it or will I soon realise I need a new ring?

I have a friend visiting from Canada for a couple of weeks and she'd like to get out on a bike. She's about 5'7" and I'm 6'2" so mine are way too big.

Would anyone be willing to lend one for the duration? She's responsible and capable. She goes everywhere in Toronto by bike.

When the chain slips as you pull away from a red light/junction, your balls will slam onto the top tube and your knee will smash on the stem. Then you go to pedal away and realise the chain has dropped off the front rings. So you move onto the pavement to put the chain back on and your hands get all oily/greasy. Repeat this 2 or 3 times.
Then you will wish you bought a new chain ring.

Or the chain comes off as you’re pedalling hard and your cranks spin around which throws you over the bars, cracking your helmet, snapping your Chinese fake oakleys and cracking your Specialized £90 saddle. Maybe that was just me though.
