So as soon as work was done I headed out for a quick spin in the woods. Having ridden my mtb so much recently it took a little mental adjustment to get into cx mode again but the more I rode it the more I loved it.
It's not as snappy as the Victoire in terms of acceleration but then that's probably a lot to do with 35c G Ones vs 2.25 mtb tyres as anything else. And I can switch to those wheels should I want/need to. Once up to speed it's unstoppable and it has mtb levels of grip and traction which overall made for a lot more fun. It basically rides like a cx bike that you don't have to baby quite so much on the techy terrain.
TL:DR it's fucking superb!
