Smashed the final climb to see if I could catch him. 18km long 2.5km from the top I see him. I rest a moment eat something and then i attack him with everything. He claws back. I go again. He comes back, I go again. A gap of 10m as we approach the summit. It was incredibke, felt like I was racing a tour stage summit finish. I stop at the top and say lets ride in together. Abd we finish together.
Racing gravel descents in dark after 4 days flat out is dumb.
