India is cheap, I got 3 ceramic teeth for £500.

boom!

Oh I forgot to mention. I fitted a rotor INpower for better pacing on alpine climbs. It was really unreliable - often not sending data for 20 minute periods.
Rotor were really cool about it and are sending me a 2INpower by way of apology! I'll do an update once all is fitted.

the worst handlebars I had. Very flex in the drops.

The zipps? Which year? They were redesigned in 2014

I've got the SL70s on my S2. I like them. Haven't noticed any flex, but maybe that's a lack of power on my part.

Carbon handlebars >>>>>>>

The s2 is famous for being a bone-shaker - I tried Alu bars initially and it was unridable!
There seems to be a black art of flex for comfort and too much flex when riding aggressively. My most recent set up was 25 tires, 2.5mm tape and carbon bars which seemed to absorb most things even when riding on the hoods in aero position. i did notice a but of flex when climbing however
I'm not gonna be crit racing anytime soon so the sprinting point isn't really that relevant to me

Nope, the 3t Aeronova!
-
• #138
I have heard that the 3t quite flexy apparently the ltd version has a totally different carbon layup to resolve it. How did you. Resolve the long reach? Shorter stem, or yoga classes?

Zipp bars arrived. They have really nice detailing and seem much stiffer than my 3t bars.
Has anyone got at 120/130mm Zipp stem they would like to swap for my 3T arx +-6 stem?

So I’ve decided that this bike is just too uncomfortable to ride, so I’m starting something new.
As a fast approach middle age I’ve decided that discs are a must and lightness is more important than aero cos I’m simply not that fast anymore!!
So I’ve bought a cannondale supersix evo himod team - it certainly is light...

The wheels have already arrived too
Hunt aero 30 disc, which are confusingly heavier than listed...

17 gram for the frame? That is light.

I was thinking about how to achieve the equivalent of gold embossing for bikes... suggestions welcome

Planning on almost exactly the same set up, except with the non hi-mod version. Interested to know tire clearance with those rims - 28c is the listed clearance, but some people have managed 30c. Are you using a similar finishing kit?
-
• #147
I’m definitely going to do a tubeless setup - probably gp5000 - they come up way bigger than listed so a 28c is normally 31!
As for finishing kit I’m not sure. The frame cane with a layback fsa slk seat post which is light but probably doesn’t suit my position

I think I read somewhere that 5K is closer to true size, so check up on that so you get the desired size

So on with the stem/bar combo. I’ve used Zipp service course SL ergo on most previous bikes but in think I’d just won’t look correct... also Zipp doesn’t make at 25.4mm seat post any suggestions?
Full Thomson?
Keep the fsa seatpost and find fsa stem and bars?
Other?

I reckon the Fsa job will look best if you sand / clear coat the garish logos off
