If its under 2 years then back in for warranty replacement?

Got a bit of a problem here. Had my SP dynamo replaced with a new one, under warranty, but SP forgot to add the connector. Does anyone know how I could fix it? I need it by next week (RaTN race) and online shops are sold out or take too long... :/

It’s the same as a Shimano connector.

I bought spares of that connector years ago and never used any so they're probably still here somewhere.

Finally got my hands on a Shimano connector. It fits but is super tight. I need some pliers to unplug it. Let's hope I don't get a flat during the race.

Shouldn't be that tight. It should clip on/off easily. Sure the Shimano are the same as the Supernova?

I know it shouldn't be that tight. But the customer service of Shutter Precision said I could use a Shimano one. It will have to do as I won't be able to get the proper SP one on time.

I tried that too once, was tight but worked. Sp plug on shimano hub was too loose.
I guess you could make the plug looser with a file and some violence. -

Anyone test one of those Aliexpress hubs? Curious about it for a commuter.

Where are you? I told you I have some here.
As Samuli suggests, you could use a sharp knife to take away some material once you find where it's tight.

Belgium. Could you maybe bring one to the start next week?

Shit, I dunno, they're pretty bulky. Might not fit in my luggage.

What if I said I might fit some belgian beer in my luggage.

That just sounds like a really obvious tactic to set me off on a bad path before the start... :)
It's in my todo list anyway so I'll try find 'em.

Stoked with my #moneygun SON dyno setup. Should have drilled a hole in the front guard for the tail light. Was a bit baffled why I had to reverse the taillight wires for it to work, but it's just so great not to have to think about charging lights, removing lights, and even turning lights on. The edelux beam pattern is wonderful. 5/7 would dyno again

Any options for 12mm dyno hub worth thinking off except pd-8x / son 28?

Holy spacer stack Batman! But the bike looks really nice overall, a fine example of the genre.

If you get ‘round to rerouting the wire through the mudguard, you can do a neat thing to make the cable flex across the steering gap needed by winding it tight round a screwdriver, and heating it for a bit... like a phone cable ...

Might be a bit late now. Ring them, they’re super helpful and would probably send it next day if you needed it.

Ok so how do I get this guy to stay in place here? It’s an aluminum fender strut that I’m attempting to repurpose.

Yeah mine went funny after about 1 1/2 years. Made quite a loud ticking noise along with the judder.
