Yeah the HW1s were nice guitars - I remember them being a bridging price between Mexican and USA made but with an accidentally excellent result.
I could never afford one at the time and when I could, I ended up getting a cheap roadworn strat which also has a nitro finish and good vibes. Don’t think I have played in a band since I got it though :( -

I'm sick of not playing in a band... Determined to be more punk rock about my musical shit in the next six months...

I want to play in a band again as well.
I had a good jam with people at work in one of the tiny music rooms on a shit Squire through a broken amp and it still felt good. I'd love to play at a good volume on my own guitar and amp.

Cheers - it's Sherwood Green "metallic". I wasn't sure about it at first as I already had the green cabs but the bass came up at a really decent price for what it is at exactly the time I had my bonus burning a hole in my account so I couldn't really say no!

Sherwood Green
Aw shit, now i've just googled it and got my heart set on a green tele.
I fell like a change and can swap my MIM 50's Strat (Daphne Blue) for a Tele. Anyone interested?

Yeah it looks cool on the guitars - does get a fair few comments when out & about too.

So, I found the original receipts for my Artcore semi hollow body bass (link above has photos it’s an artcore agb 140) and I need to buy some new noisy things so this is up for sale.
£200 collection, including Carver bass case, strap, cable and any spare strings I can find for it.
It’s in Herne Hill so you’re welcome to come and try out, but I’m currently bass amp free - but could DI it to something.
Fulfill your Bad Seeds twang ambitions!

I enjoyed reading the Jazz Bass ad again. Did you sell that? And what band were you in that played the main stage at Reading/Leeds?

I enjoyed reading the Jazz Bass ad again.
Me too - it’s a beaut and was seriously considering it a few months ago, but cheaped-out on a Squier version instead

Nope, that’s still collecting dust under the bed too - open to offers on that one

I’m on the lookout for a Squier vintage modified Jazzmaster and jaguar. Anyone have one for sale?

I love playing bass but I've never owned one.
Picked up my new guitar today so I think owning a bass is out of the question.

Gibson's new range seems to have caused some heavy discounting on the old stock, and I just ordered a Les Paul Junior for £499 delivered. So I need to make some room. I have a Fender DG-3 and a Fender Telecoustic (sparkly metallic silver) that need to go - both good, cheap guitars for a beginner. Anyone interested? Can deliver to central London or pickup in SE.

heavy discounting where?

I think £499 for this is good value. Worth a punt, and if I don't get on with it, it can go to eBay for a not-huge loss.
That Yamaha is sweet btw.
