Trying out all the cargo bikes at Pedelc in Brooklyn.
Butchers and bikes has a rubbish turning circle but mad fun to ride and comfy for rider and kids with its floppy tilting mechanism.
Also USA allows >16mph limit. Most seem to do 20mph (class 1?) which is ample for most things. Tried a 28mph spesh hybrid , fine here but too fast for UK traffic, folk just don't expect it.
Also cycling in new York is borderline amazing, done around 120 miles of city and Riverside streets and cycle paths last few days and not had a single vehicle try to kill me. Number of family ebikes here (mostly long-tail with a Bosch in them) is very high, number of strangely short legged delivery guys riding throttle Chinese electric bikes is wild, so many, but guess better than them driving a car or motorbike.
