Do we have a 'Bike Tool/ Multi tool' thread?
https://www.dm-tools.co.uk/product.php?sn=WER05004170&site=emapr070419&kw=WER05004170#.XKo7aKR7m00I am a fan of both D&M Tools, and Wera,
and remember having a conversation at the D&M Toolshow 4 or 5 years ago with a
Wera Product Manager asking why they did not have a 'Bike Set'.And, what is a reasonable price for a
2.5-25Nm adjustable torque wrench? -

Following on from BB30 cranks a few posts back
SRAM Dub 28.99mm cranks?
Worthwhile compromise of a large diameter axle, Vs decent bearing size and sealing. Or Emperors new clothes again and another pointless "standard"?

Does anyone know if thereโs a vid of the last 50-100k of this years Tour of Flanders? If so Could you post it here/PM?
Iโd look myself, but really donโt want to see a spoiler... -

The easiest way to think about it is that they CBA to make 24mm and 30mm axles and a 29mm axle lets them get equivalent performance in sensible BB specs like BSA and BB/PF30/386Evo and acceptable durability in dumb shit like BB90/86.

I enjoy riding my fixie but its so impractical....
Hold my beer.

In all seriousness, what sizes is it, is there;s a geo sheet, etc.
And I'll show you mudguard are doable.

Depends on your accuracy and durability requirements. CRC will sell you one for ยฃ30 at the moment, if you don't mind it maxing out at 24Nm.
Personally I'd go beam wrench for cycling stuff, which should in theory be cheaper and more durable than ratchet / clicker types.

Many thanks - now to get money back. He purchased on FB paying goods/services...sold as genuine though buyer didn't send recorded. I'll suggest he follows 'usual PayPal' protocol. Cheers

Is there a "Which television is the right one to buy" thread?
-
• #96367
100% you are right. I just can't be arsed to bodge and don't like the aesthetics either.

The full race is available on the Eurosport player.

Getting a sort of knock at a certain position on a SRAM Rival GXP crankset I got second hand. Not audible, just can feel it when pedalling with low resistance.
Everything is tight and there is no play in any part of it.
New BB needed, or is there an obvious fix/installation error to rectify?

I bought this Tiagra 11-32 cassette: https://www.wiggle.co.uk/shimano-tiagra-hg500-10-speed-cassette-11-3211-34/ but have found it doesn't fit on my freehub which seems to take Shimano 5700 style cassettes (of course it doesn't fit, what kind of idiot wouldn't check).
Is there an option to buy a wider cassette (11-30/11-32) which fits my freehub or do they not produce them any more? I can only find 11-28 via google.
-
• #96371
Why doesn't it fit?
-
• #96372
Hub looks like this, the grooves in the cassette wonโt fit over the higher part of the splines.

Ah, think you're stuck with 6600 or 7800 stuff, which I don't think went above 28t then, or you can get someone to machine the splines down, or maybe take a file to them, new wheels would be better though.

Could I swap the freehub?
-
• #96375
Dunno, which hub is it?
I've been to the cafe a couple of times, it's nice but pricey. A nice location for a mid-ride stop, it has good views too.
No idea about the off road cycling facilities, although they used to have a cross race there and there are always kids playing around on the berms by the cafe.
