And will sort the spacer stack out at some point ...
Puked in my mouth when I saw it
Otherwise, siiiick

Yeah but by the time I do that I'm having to make 2 trips with bike parts and then 1+ with the stuff I loaded it with, it's a total faff that I'd do a couple of times then get fed up with.

Not bad. Not entirely sure how fast I would get anywhere like this though.

I was so tempted by that when it came up! If you ever want to sell it let me know, I'd love to build up a bike around it haha

Yeah it’s grim isn’t it.
If you ever want to sell it let me know
Will do!
Needs more stack
That can be arranged..
Sounds basic but does anyone know a good source for decent plastic containers that are tough and won’t break super easily?
I was sort of thinking to get my hands on a few of those stackable plastic crates, fix one that will always sit at the bottom to the rack and use the stacking ability when I want to carry more stuff.
Would rather just grab something old / discarded but could shell out for something new I guess

Those look like the supermarket delivery ones, maybe swing by a big ASDA or find the Ocado depot and ask if they have one that can disappear.
I could have got you a dozen if you were local to Swindon, as a scrap place gets piles of them, but it’s not worth the carrying to London if I got some. If you get desperate I can bring one or two on the weekend of the 18th.

Big retail outlets use similar but taller and with a solid folding lid, when they get a bit busted or dirty they often throw them out. Go check the bins at back of a big retail park.
The decathlon hunters "meat" bag is popular with bullitt folk, its thick pvc with a cord around the top rectangular and can fold down. Also keeps liquids inside but not rain. Cost about £20?

As medium cargo-haulers they're great. In RM use they held up well, with a couple of minor mechanical niggles - the chain tensioner can be a bit fragile, and I gather the front rack can crack if regularly overloaded, but there's not much to go wrong otherwise. Available cheap as Elephant Bike refurbs, too.

Friendly with your local supermarket staff they can probably mislay a couple from the veg or bread.

I don’t suppose anyone has an Xtracycle Hooptie that they’d want to sell have they ? I’m trying to source one for my Dummy but not having a lot of luck - thanks in advance

Here's my GT Tequesta hobo cargo bike with Crust Clydesdale Cargo fork. There's some more pics in my Flickr account

Seriously good man. Favourite is the straight legged fork in the first few pics!

Nice! Would really like a disc brake setup on the front too

Cheers for the advice guys, I’ll have a snoop around the local supermarkets and see if I can pick something up.
Platypus if nothing comes up nearby I’ll take you up on that, thanks for the offer

Came across this recently - one of the shifters is under the seat and it’s clearly homemade. It’s a brave person who rides this

Yeah, I highly recommend getting a disc brake for the Crust fork. For example there's Shimano's hydraulic brakes pretty cheap and they're good enough.

Those forks look like people are shoving broomsticks in the front wheel as a method of slowing down.

.
Bought a Crust fork a little while ago from @andyfallsoff and finally found time to put it on a bike. Weird looking but rides fairly nicely. Haven’t tested it loaded yet.
Need some sort of massive box to fix to the platform. And will sort the spacer stack out at some point ...
