I thought you needed as many equations as variables to solve these.
Yeah you don't have enough info. It's degenerate. It reduces to:
x - z - w = 0 y - z + w = -1
For any value of w, this gives a straight line in 3d space. Sweeping through a range of w gives a nicely angled surface.
