Would not touch a pre 2016 model after moving to revision model 15 and 13 inch.

yeah @stelfox it'd have to be an absolute steal as the performance halves on one model down let alone two or three ..

the only reasons to get touch bar version for me is 4x thunderbolt 3 ports and quad core processors

i7's have changed lots over the years.... quad core or GTFO these days, even on Ultrabooks.
Go for the base 13 and get an eGPU as even the highest end dGPU is crap.
Expense EVERYTHING.
