Think I'll give this a go!
Always been worried about it going in to the wheel, any concerns there?
Also is it mounted that way due to the inner (seat post) angle, as not ideal to take off in to wheel...? -
• #4980
Ha I was obviously not thinking last time.
Mine can fit above the wheel.

If I could fit it above the wheel i would! The light going into the wheel is the main concern alright!
It that the aero seatpost mount you have on there?
-
• #4982
Nope usual mount with inner tube half folded to improve angle.
I enquires about aero one but lack of angle is an issue. -

anyone got a good helmet mount light that they'd lend me at the end of april for a few weeks.
-
• #4984

Does anyone know where I can purchase a replacement usb cover for a Moon Mizar? I can only find replacement mounts and rubber straps.

Just bought Moon meteor lite from Halfords for £40, 1100 lumens.
Bit heavy for helmet maybe at 210g.

Good price. I actually got one of those moon vortex.

I hope you're not going on one of your long rides with that on your helmet, I suspect at 230 grammes it may lead to neck problems (I'm pretty sure that is what caused my friends Shermer's on the Race around Ireland!)

Not all the time. Probebrly handlebar mount it.
But if climbing gravel at 8kmph in the dark my dynamo wint be enough to power the supernova.

Would this mount a Diablo to a TT bar?

Another exposure question; anyone used the beacon diffuser, is it any good how tight fitting is it? Would it stay on during riding?

Why do I have it in my head that Mike Hall used one of these for TABR/TransAm?
-
• #4996
Damn I'm good. It was Mike but it was his World Cycle Race bike he had one on
Maybe I saw it on another of his bike setups.

Great. I was thinking I’d run it on the spare as a beacon as I’ll be carrying it anyway.

Does anyone have a light mounted to their rear pannier rack? I'd quite like to have a permanently installed one. I don't have a dynamo atm, so looking at battery ones. Looking at either this busch and muller one or this one which has senso technology, but I cant seem to find out what that is/does exactly. But then I'm also looking into Spanniga ones too. I don't know which one to go for or what to be looking for even.
I'm also kinda confused about what a standlight is, if anyone knows.

I've got a rear tracer and can't fit it on my seat stays or my Carradice. Am I better off buying a helmet mount for £17 or another rear light that can be fitted on the rear of the Carradice?
It's a Super C Audax one. I'm in need of this setup for upcoming 400/600km audax rides.
:)
It’s been there for years and it is at least as good as any mount I’ve ever used.
