Isn't it even more suspect than that, as the Boeing training docs weren't even updated to have a new/correct "right procedure" to deal with the angle-of-attack issue

The thing that pisses me off about this, is he was made a lord to contribute to matters relating to science, education and healthcare / medicine. This is what the lords is good for - getting people who really know about stuff to help make decisions about stuff.
Then, he just spouts off about cycling policy, something he clearly knows absolutely eff all about, trying to give the government some great ideas. They might as well drag any old gammon off the street for this kind of expert insight.
Get back in your box you twat.

I agree,
he is treating the House of Lords like a residents association,
and grouching about issues that appeal to fellow curtain-twitchers.
Is there not enough work on whatever standing committee there is for human embryology matters? -

I've thought this for years. We barely bother to mention the Caribbean islands that inevitably get devastated

TV channel tweet a sports photo, horrible trolls pile in, tv channel deletes the photo:
We're sorry. Removing the photo sent the wrong message.
Many of the comments made on the post were reprehensible & we'll work

Disabled people in Surrey are about to get fucked over by the council. They're set to lose their right to free bus travel before 9.30 am and after 11pm from April 1st. A petition has been set up by my friend's brother, he will be directly affected by this cut. Please can lots of people sign here!

When you read through it transpires his brother-in-law’s source is a former FAA and Boeing employee. The pilot-blaming seems less tech-bro arrogance and a bit more sinister in that light. There’s a bit where he says the planes shouldn’t have been grounded until more data was in, which just can’t be the right call. Although the guy does seem to have some useful insights into the sensor problems, in his defence.
