Thanks - it’s a 52cm CAAD 9 with a copy of an Enve road fork.

One of my friends has a 52/36 170mm sisl2 set with shoe rub on the left crank for sale. Still some life left on the fancy spiderring, would need replacement after a 1000k or so.

where from? seems surprisingly hard to get some nice straight forks with 1 1/8 steerer that aren't 3T copies

Changed out the SL-80 drops for NC's and found a Save 2 setback seatpost in an efort to add some comfort.

I've always wondered what the deal was with CAAD 8's.

As far as I know the USA made we're good, as already stated. Certainly the frame I have is super light and made very well. It also has the full carbon forks paired with it. Favourite bike I've ever owned. It's only off the road now as I feel 15+ year old carbon forks are a risk when I don't know the full history.

both of mine have them, i think they hold on the chainslap protector
