'best deal negotiable'
someone in the media needs to call her out on this.
It was only the best deal negotiable after her attrocious Lancaster House speech
where she drew her Red Lines, which lead directly to a WA that she cannot get through Parliament. -

I am absolutely fuming at the ignorance of TM. She's like the fucking terminator, fixated on destroying this country putting her own and her party's future ahead of what's actually good for the country and generations to come. Dominic Greive made perfect sense. So refreshing to hear his views.

The point about briefing is just scoring a point back. But it's fairly petty - 'she said she'd meet with just me but then invited other people'.
As far as I can see, he was at the table and had the opportunity to make his case - we can expect May to ignore it because she doesn't listen to anyone, but at least if he's stuck around to make the point then he's done what he can. It actually helps him if more people are there, as they can say what happened so more chance of his actions being reported, and more pressure on May.
But no - feel aggrieved and leave, and give May a chance to say that she tried cross party unity and was rejected. So we're back to square one but she now has an excuse.

It's not the Yalta conference; nothing was going to come of it anyway.

Her speech is insincere, downright creepy. But worst of all she's trying to point the finger at everyone else for the bloody mess her singletrack agenda has led us to.

is he a grandpa or a child? which?
though actually i support you on this, he has been staggeringly useless, and has equalled May's levels of ineptitude.

Was Corbyn’s top button undone too?

Fuck load of good it'll do, but this petition is getting 1,500 signatures/min right now...

This is a national crisis of May's own making, and she is still trying to orchestrate events

'He said the idea of party grandees asking her to step down had been floated, with a promise that she would still have a role, such as a prominent ambassadorship, Lord President of the Council, or Tory leader in the House of Lords.'
She really needs to throw it all in and go back to something more at her level of competence,
arranging the flowers in her local church, or arguing about plastic bags in a charity shop. -
• #19072
I try to avoid listening to her speak - I find it uncomfortable. However, I listened to her speech tonight and she's sounding unhinged.
-
• #19073
everyone is being so critical of her but who else has actually tried to find a way forward that respects the referendum result (in the sense of the issues that mattered to people who voted brexit - control of borders & laws etc) and minimises the political and economic chaos that would follow a no deal departure?

Or handing out cups of water at the Maidenhead 10. Seriously, she's a very competent race marshal.

Is she going to be as hated as Thatcher though? Will there be a Dance on her Grave? That's what us forruns wanna know.
Maybe not. But not would they be reporting that he stormed out of a meeting in a huff, which is what they're saying now.
