Fuck this shit. Burn it all down. We don't deserve nice things anyway.

We'd be fucked if we didn't have a strong and stable government

A lot of commentators quite rightly pointing out that EU haven't said no to a long delay, only that the short delay the UK wants requires a deal. Coupled with Maybot's words this morning, if MV3 doesn't pass I'd say it is more likely there is a year or two delay coupled with her resignation.
Which is fascinating because the ERG are all up for voting down MV3 to get the no-deal they want, when it is more likely to result in a long delay which could prevent any real Brexit.

MV3 to fail, May to resign, EU to grant long extension. Ball kicked!

It's got to be the Kyle amendment not hasn't it?
We've had three years, this is the piece of turd we've delivered, do you want it? or shall we remain?
It's different to the original referendum, shows they've tried their best, and get to settle it with some good old fashioned democracy.

I quite like the 2am kebab shop analogy but this one's slightly more nuanced. Good stuff.

Summary of the Kyle amendment for those who've forgotten please...

A second referendum with two choices on the ballot;
- May's deal
- Remain
- May's deal
-
• #18986
It's going to get a lot of people screaming "What about No Deal?"
-
• #18987
Cool thanks... that’s the one I’m looking for... just emailed my mp on this (not Kyle specifically) to try and counter the gammon voice
-
• #18988
Not sure there are a lot or if they make shitloads of noise like empty vessels tend to do.
Either way, can't be done due to the UK border with ROI.
-
• #18989
True, but you'll get even more people screaming "You're trying to split the leave vote" if you do include No Deal...
-
• #18990
Agreed. I’ve done the same. Maybe someone will hear us?
-
• #18991
Emailed mine just now, although not via that site. Automated email reply from "RODDA, Matt (3rd Mailbox)" doesn't fill me with optimism.
-
• #18992
I actually got a reply, maybe Portsmouth’s Labour MP reads this thread. He’s already signed a letter backing the Kyle amendment.
I’m still too cynical to have any optimism tho tbh.

A second referendum with two choices on the ballot;
- Remain (admit it was a huge mistake)
- Remain (deny it ever happened)
FTFY
- Remain (admit it was a huge mistake)

have we tried breaking stuff yet? that usually gets people's attention.

We'd be fucked if we didn't have a strong and stable government
Ha!
Yes. This is your daily reminder to vote Tory for a strong economy and no silly dramas.

• #18998
Let’s be frank, the march on Saturday couldn’t be any more middle class if it tried, and middle class folk don’t have a propensity for breaking stuff. Hopefully some students will turn up and do it for us.

BREAKING: She's jumping ship...

Little wave from down the coast in Fareham. I’ve written to my mp Suella Braverman, but she’s even more bat shit mental hard brexit than JRM.
I went to a brexit q&a with her a few weeks ago, she referred to the bbc as the Brussels Broadcasting Corporation.
Have to assume that no deal is now the most likely scenario which is mind boggingly retarded!
Assume ERG will now see no incentive to vote for MV3 as their dream is within grasp. Will conditions finally be right for Kyle ammendment once MV3 fails? Would May whip government to support Kyle ammendment to avoid no deal?
