  • That's not how most of the people were shot or injured that day, is it though. Most reports describe it as a pretty amped chaotic situation.

    Murder would be more appropriate if you're looking for strong terms. Unlawful killings if you're not.

    Execution clearly implies carrying out a death sentence based on someone's actions or supposed actions. The Gibraltar killings could be accurately described as executions imo.

  • Eight seem to have been murdered in a position offering no threat or danger to the squadies, heading away from them, crawling, helping others or in some position indicating compliance. Fourteen murdered who were unarmed and not a danger. They were shot for being catholics / Nationalists by a unit with a rep for extreme violence. Seems like executions to me

  • We take people, train them in lethal force with a variety of weapons including firearms, and then wonder about the morality of the fucked up shit they do?

    In no way defending the individuals and their actions in this case but surely prosecution at CO/OC/political level is what is really needed for 'justice' to be done.
