Any RuPaul's Drag Race fans who aren't listening to Race Chaser with Alaska and Willam should remedy that ASAP. If you haven't seen Season 1 yet - which only appeared on Netflix for the first time recently - it's the perfect companion.

Hello everyone. Happy Blue Monday. We posted a new episode yesterday which is a chat with @neilp !
https://itunes.apple.com/gb/podcast/any-given-sunday/id1448125582
Neil is a multi-disciplined rider who competes in road and cross, alongside a background in endurance events like the TCR.
We sat down with Neil to talk about how he approaches training and racing these different events, the bikes he's riding, his gear choices along with much more.
Hope you enjoy

Also a fan of Behind the Bastards.
It works well with the host and just one guest, but as soon as he invites two guests you are stuck listening to endless American style banter - which really doesn't travel well IMO. -

100% agree. Zuckerberg one could have been better.

Brilliant recommendation.

I agree for the most part. I've just listened to the first of the new episodes about the KKK and that seems to get the balance about right though!

I love going in on a podcast knowing there’s absolutely loads to get through. It’s like having a big book on the go, but more varied

Good morning to the LFGSS community, excuse the plug but I'm posting in case this is of interest to any of you and it was missed a couple weeks back.
I recently started a new podcast that covers the world of cycling, largely looking at the sport outside of the Professional realm. The format is fairly loose but each episode aims to chat to interesting people on riding, racing, training, nutrition, gear and lots in between. Our second episode was a chat with our very own @neilp !
I hope you enjoy listening to it as much as I do making it.
If you've got a spare minute and fancy checking us out, we're here: http://www.anygivensundaypodcast.com

Also, our Instagram is looking very lonely at the moment so feel free to give it some love: @anygivensundaypodcast
We should also be on Spotify shortly, am having a couple of weird problems with them. Also, if any of you have anybody you think would be cool to feature by all means let me know!

Nice.
Just listened to another Chart Music. Fucking howling at this Taylot Parkes comment on an Osmonds tune from the November 1973 Ep:
"I hate to be the one to say this because it's at odds with my sophisticated image but... when Tony Blackburn says this record is 'stuck in the number two slot', he's not joking"

Not strictly a podcast but just discovered a few things on BBC sounds app:
Lee Craigie has a new cycle show, Life Cycle https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/m0002dr3
And a BBC 3 series that looks rather lovely: Slow Radio https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/p05n42q6

Put out by Stu Wiffin of Off the beats & track and hardcore listing, both things I'm going to get round to.
I've been working my way through Scroobius Pip's distraction pieces first, really good long chats with some interesting people. I did the first 50 or so a few months back and got a bit fatigued, I've gone back recently and skipped some for now and am almost up to date. Some really good serious ones, some funny ones with comedians and the drunkcast ones with above mentioned Stu and a pillock called Chris are hilarious at times. -

I'm enjoying Sean Carrol's Mondscape at the moment, he bills it as smart people talking about smart ideas which it is but never gets too highbrow, so is an easy listen

Morning all, this might be of interest to some in this group. An interview with GP Lama aka Shane Miller, talking about indoor trainers, training and of course Zwift, as well as quite a bit more. The podcast can be found anywhere you enjoy your podcasts - https://www.anygivensundaypodcast.com/subscribe

Just listened to all the Athletico Mice episodes. Knew this day would come but did it stop me devouring them at an alarming rate, no.

Lol I was meant to reply to the comment just above yours, the one that actually recommended Slow Burn - would have made it less random then.
But all the same, it’s a great listen!
Edit: Thanks @EstelleGetty for the Slow Burn recommendation!

Starlee Kine is working on bringing back The Mystery Show. If you've listened to it, you'll know its singularly one of the greatest podcasts ever made. If you haven't go and find it now.
Also, she's looking for some backing. https://www.patreon.com/starleekine/posts
I'm looking for some longer podcasts - 75mins+ Open minded as to the topic - Any recommendations? Cheers!
