Very cool^
@turkish - there are still some bargains to be had. I got a Canon Sure Shot Max for $25. Still a lot compared to what I've read they weren't for in the past, but the photos on this 35mmc post look great: https://www.35mmc.com/07/12/2018/the-canon-sure-shot-max-eat-your-liver-yaschia-t4-by-mike-caputo/

The most important take away from that post is:
'I’m after the junk drawer of point-shoots now and I’ll tell you why; as long as there is a prime lens on the camera, there’s hardly any difference in the final product I produce which is the darkroom print.'

Couple of shots from my first roll on the GW690ii. Its going to cost me a bomb to use but I'm in love with the pics. Got 7 rolls of various film/cameras back from Filmdev today so will slowly be spamming here when I find time to trawl through them (if thats okay). These are both Portra 160

Its absolutely lovely to use. No settings to think about or play with. Shutter speed, aperture, click. Not having a light meter is refreshing as well

Heres a few from a snow day in Brighton. Canon A1, Ultramax 400 and a massive speedlite flash. Exposures completely guessed as the camera doesnt flash compensate (i dont think)

Tasty deal with the 50mm 1.4 FDn
wish my 1.4 was FDnYea those are lovely.
If I did not have an anlog SLR and would go and buy one now I'm pretty sure I'd get a Canon body and that very lens.
I still like the little no-nonsense Pentax bodies (like the ME) more but I don't know, the way the Canon lenses render is a bit more charismatic to my eyes.
Maybe it's because the grass is always greener on the other side or maybe it's nostalgia (my first SLR was a Canon) but I still enjoy looking at the old images I shot with that 50mm (even though I did not really know what the fuck I was doing back then, haha). -

Nice! Is that the Level?
I'm just scanning my first test rolls from my 690 too. Agreed, it's going to bankrupt me but it'll be so worth it

Yep! Second one is just near London road station
Planning on offsetting the costs by using my half frame more. 72 shots on Portra 400 was a fun, if lengthy, roll. Just spammed a load of them onto my insta story if anyones interested @tobinchapman

Camera buying/selling talk (sorry).
Does anyone want a black mju ii for £100 posted?
It's not perfect (it's used and the film window's gone - replaced with a neat bit of tape).I don't really need this one. It'd be good if it went to a forumenger.

Selling 4x 35mm cameras to pay for my book printing costs.
They are all excellent in their own way, and if you ask me nicely I will give you some film for them too.

Given what people pay for good compacts these days, this is a lot of camera for the money. Love my A1 its lovely to use. From west yorkshire probably won't have the squeak
