Desk diving today. This feels quite weighty compared to my speedy. Hopefully getting in for an Arvo surf if work allows.

My oh my. Smitten. Difficult to photograph because the sunburst dial is so shiny. 1974 King Seiko 5625-7041. The pencil thin second hand and the thick hour hand are just spot on. Is fanastic in the flesh.

Ooh nice.

Been enjoying this more and more since rouging the case and swapping the hands. Feels weird without the second hand but not enough to replace the hands again. Really nice and slim while cycling, hasn’t got in the way at all.

I once read something that said: don't end up having 20 nice watches when you could have a few fantastic watches. That's the only danger with Seiko.

Where are people getting these Seikos from? I spent some time a while back looking for a twin quartz (the double penis model) but didn't find much.

I believe there is a guy called karlenko123 on reddit.com/r/watchexchange who is selling a lot of them.

Bargain city. He’s in Vietnam. Ships via Singapore using a forwarding company who use DHL. I don’t know the duty implications in the U.K., but there aren’t any in the U.S. so it’s really cheap.
