I ended up buying a BMC Alr disc as per @amey ‘s advise from https://athlostriathlon.com/
I gather from my experience that the proprietor (Colin) is a one man band operating out of a warehouse in Northern Ireland. It arrived a couple weeks late and the brakes aren’t set up very well, but with the January sale discount included the purchase was nearly £400 cheaper than Evans + a free pair of keo pedals. He was very friendly and considerate so I’m inclined to share my recommendation.
