Awesome! It would be good to have regular team mates.

I've been unable to get into it at all.

you must be dead inside

Spot on.
There's an early part of the game where you battle against some human enemies who are invading your situation, and the combat just felt so stale and lacklustre. -
• #20581
Yeah the combat is a little awkward at the beginning but it gets much better.

I just bought and Xbone X because why not, what do y'all do about charging controllers?
-
• #20588
A big box of amazon aa batteries.
I should probably buy a rechargeable one...
-
• #20589
But that's not going to contribute to my rat's nest of USB cables.
-

One of the things i'm looking forward to most about moving is the chance to sort out my cabling for TVs once and for all (probably).
-
• #20591
tell me about it, I've not got 2 macbooks each with different connections that need plugging in too. I need some massive switch/bank of HDMI inputs and USB charging ports.

Get something like this. I have something similar for charging all the phones and iPads in the front room.

An actual racing sim developer wants to buy my Donington mod for non-exclusive use in an upcoming title.
Might chance my arm at 20k.
-
• #20594
bloody hell, well done.
-
• #20595
I'll give you a tenner and two pasties.

Thanks, but whether anything will come of it I've no idea.
That figure could be 10x what they might offer, which - while essentially free money - I think would be taking the piss. Not because of the hours I've put in over the last 4.5 years, but because I know what it would take to create it from scratch.
Will sleep on it before getting back to them.
-
• #20597
Ask them if they have a price in mind or are you past that stage?
-
• #20598
No mention of it whatsoever. Only thing they let slip was they've a requirement to deliver 'in relatively short order', which seems a little careless.

I admire your optimism. It will start off all nice and neat and then you'll need to add a few things and you can't be bothered undoing all the zip ties and unscrewing the cable storage and stuff and then within a year it's back to a rat's nest.
I counted up recently and I've got nineteen things plugged in to the mains around my AV setup (one of which is a USB power supply with half a dozen USB cables) and also into double figures for network cables.

Slightly spendy Samsung TVs with the breakout box are a god-send for this.
I have both, but if i get it will do the xb1 version then.
