Has anyone set up their Garmin for use when running? I've got an 800 that I'd like to use when running but doubt it'll be accurate enough on foot, unless there are specific settings people have used?
Why? Can you adjust data recording to 1-sec intervals? It'll reduce battery-life, but improve accuracy. It's a bit bulky though - use the Strava app on phone instead?
I'll give that a go - haven't owned the garmin for that long so still trying to get used to it. My phone flaps about in my pocket but the garmin hides away fine in a rear jersey pocket.
